I am a stage manager. Because it is what I do best, I’m excited for the opportunity to share my talents at the Christmas Concert at my church. That doesn’t mean it’s easy work though.
This concert has consumed my life for the past few days, and today was the first full day of rehearsal. Tomorrow we’ll rehearse all morning, then perform twice.

What have I gotten myself in to?
While I have a strict rule to never work for free, I’ve decided that opportunities like this should be an exception. It has been wonderful to get to know more of my community and spend an afternoon in the church.
Side note – I made chili and cornbread for some friends today and was quite pleased to use many of the ingredients that I’ve been accumulating with these National Days. I even put the vinegar (remember November 1st?!) to use!
