September 15th – National Google.com Day

Today is also National Double Cheeseburger Day. I remember celebrating this last year. I was in Cleveland and I had the bar downstairs make me one. It was really good, but I didn’t eat red meat for like 6 months after that. I’ve had hamburgers since, but not a double. Just the way I felt after eating that much meat…I needed a break.

So that’s why I chose a non food option today and went to Google.com.

My homepage is Google, and I always have a tab open to ask random questions.

The most recent 3 things I Googled?

  • start spreading the news
  • Twitter jobs nyc
  • is there a sequel to the giver?

What are the last things you Googled? Just scroll through your Internet history. It’s easy to see.

I then went to the Google homepage and went to the “I’m feeling lucky” button. It scrolled to I’m Feeling Wonderful and took me here.

I read about The Roman Walls of Lugo. There are some really beautiful pictures. Just imagine living across the street from these. Lovely. We do have some great old buildings here in NYC, but America just can’t compete with what Rome has to offer. That’s laughable.

So anyway. I want to go there.

What’s Tomorrow?
