September 30th – National Women’s Health and Fitness Day

I’ve been busy with this crazy show, but today I made sure I got out of there early enough to walk home instead of riding the train. Having this as an option every day is one of the greatest things about this city.

My sister let me borrow her fitbit so I could test it out. I think it has helped me to be more active and walk more. Just knowing how much you have or haven’t moved during the day makes all the difference.

Today was kind of stressful at work, so this walk home was appreciated. As I walked through Central Park past couples in love and bikers taking selfies, I had a moment. You know, one of those moments where you take a breath and think, “this is something I want to remember forever.” The weather is perfect, this city is beautiful, and I’m getting where I need to go by walking.

I believe I also found a new favorite place in nyc. But I’m not going to tell you where.

Tomorrow’s a new month!
