I’m just going to be honest and open about it – I don’t like Halloween. I don’t like scary movies, gore, death, or dressing up.
I do love fall, and pumpkin spices, candy, and cute kids. Most of those things have nothing to do with Halloween.
I love celebrating holidays, just not Halloween. Call me a contradiction.
So today we celebrated Caramel Apples! This is actually one of my favorite treats, but I very rarely get one. Maybe once every other year or something like that. Mostly just because of lack of access. My friends and I were at Coney Island today and there was this cute candy shop. So we got some apples and they were good and the day was awesome. Then I came home stayed in for the night and didn’t force myself in to any spooky festivities.
It was quite lovely.
