Am I the only one that feels like this is the 5th Doughnut Day this year? Crazy.
I was walking home from rehearsal tonight, keeping an eye out for a place to grab a doughnut, when I came across this bakery. Doesn’t it look welcoming from the dark sidewalk?
So I went in and bought one. Buying stuff from bakeries at the end of the day is always a risk, because stuff has been sitting out all day long. I’ve almost always been disappointed with dry or old tasting pastries.
Today was no exception. The doughnut I bought was really gross and I’m pretty bummed about it. If I ever go back to this place again I’ll get one of those lemon bars or brownies that looked really good, but probably not. I’ll probably avoid this place.
