It was my day off from the theater so I had some time for an actual walk. This walk took me North through Harlem. It wasn’t a super peaceful walk for the first several blocks, but then things calmed down a little bit.

This is a statue of Harriet Tubman. I haven’t had the opportunity yet, but I really want to learn more about the Underground Railroad here in the city. There are even some walking tours that take you to historic locations around Harlem. (#nyctodolist)

I am so close to making it to Bree! This will be the next move on the map, so I’m very excited about it. Right now we are just getting ready to say goodbye to Tom Bombadil and finish our walk into Bree on our own.
