Again. I live in Manhattan. I do live across the street from Central Park so I could have gone for a “hike” in there somewhere, but as with most days, I had to work this activity around my rather hectic schedule. So my version of a hike today was getting off the train 20 blocks

I’ve been busy with this crazy show, but today I made sure I got out of there early enough to walk home instead of riding the train. Having this as an option every day is one of the greatest things about this city. My sister let me borrow her fitbit so I could test it out.

I took this photo of the park just after 7pm in excitement that the sun was just setting. I’m from Utah, and I always loved the time of day when the valley is in shadow but the sun is still hitting the mountains. The same thing happens in New York, it’s just with the buildings instead. Pretty.
