One of the many great things about New York City, is the how easy and common it is to frequent small businesses. I was surprised when I got here how small this town actually is and how much community matters. I guess it’s a bit impossible to avoid. We live on top of each other.

My first job out of college was as a Stage Manager for a small show that toured elementary schools. The show taught kids about healthy eating and body image. It was a fun time of seeing new places, being on the road, and working on a show that mattered. It’s always nice to work on
