These cute Sisters came by today and we had a nice conversation. One of the things we talked about is how my career in theatre has introduced me to so many people who are open and willing to discuss new ideas. This is one of my favorite things about “theatre people”. They are so much more welcoming and accepting than the rest of the world.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that listening to new and different ideas doesn’t mean you are betraying everything you believe. It just makes you a person that people want to talk to.
So here’s to moments of swapping ideas, listening to different points of view, and learning something new about the world.
