I’m so lucky to be friends with these ladies. We’ve been through a lot together, and I’m excited for all that we’ll experience together in the future. Today I’m happy that Melanie keeps a bowl of candy corn in her apartment so I don’t have to go buy a bag of candy that I’d never finish.

The closest I got to eating raspberry cake today were these cupcakes: I was at the wedding of a dear friend tonight. His mother spent the day making these, and they were delicious. Because I was unable to bake a cake today, I celebrated by including a recipe in my gift to the happy couple.
