September 16th – National Cinnamon Raisin Bread Day

wpid-img_20140916_230503.jpg

I’m still in the middle of a busy tech schedule, so I don’t have a lot of time. Still, daily celebrations don’t require a lot of money or time. I had some raisins left from Sep 9th and powdered sugar for frosting from Sep 11th. I bought cinnamon and some pillsbury crescent rolls.

I put a layer of cinnamon and raisins in each crescent roll then drizzled some frosting on top once they were baked. They turned out pretty tasty! These lovely coworkers of mine seemed to enjoy them too.

It was literally bread + cinnamon + raisins = Cinnamon Raisin Bread.
