My first job out of college was as a Stage Manager for a small show that toured elementary schools. The show taught kids about healthy eating and body image. It was a fun time of seeing new places, being on the road, and working on a show that mattered.
It’s always nice to work on a show that matters.
Part of the show was an activity where the 2 actors onstage made a parfait. So, we made a new parfait every single show, and I was buying a lot of yogurt and strawberries. Anyway, that’s what I was thinking about today as I made my parfait. I was also thinking that perhaps I should do this more often, because it’s yummy and surprisingly filling.
