I made a little chocolate custard today. Ya I did!
I’ve never had chocolate custard before so I don’t know how mine compares, but I think I did a pretty good job. I think maybe I got it out of the oven too early, or out of the fridge too soon because it was a tad runny, but boy it was tasty.
This is the first Martha Stewart recipe that I’ve used so far. She intimidates me with her fancy cooking and centerpieces. This one worked tough, so I think I’ll include her options in the future.

It is SO RICH, but a ton of whipped cream on top really helped that. I’m happy that I’ve got more cups of goodness in the fridge.
