Let’s just all agree that sitting around the fire and chatting is one of the most fun things to do. Texas in August is a bit too warm to want to sit next to a fire for too long, but it was still awesome. We had good company tonight and pleasant conversation. There was even the sweet tune of a harmonica. Who could ask for anything more?
What is it about fire that is so mesmerizing? What is it about sitting around the fire that inspires conversation and camaraderie? This is something I’ve always loved. I miss it when I’m in the city.
