National Great American Pot Pie Day was started by Marie Callender’s in 2002. It seems only fitting therefore, that I should celebrate with one of their frozen pot pies.

Today is also National Innergize Day, which is the day after the Autumnal Equinox. This day was started by Michelle Porchia of Inner Dimensions.

“It is a forced day of rest, when observers relax, reflect, and rejuvenate.”

So, similar to yesterday’s gratitude list in preparation of winter, today is a time to do something for yourself. Pamper yourself in a great or small way.

This morning when I woke up, I lay in bed and played on Twitter for an hour. Just because.

(For the record: I don’t normally do that.)
