I went to a family party today. We were at my Aunt’s house celebrating for my cousin when I asked her about fruitcake. Not only did she have a fruitcake, but it was homemade and my Grandma’s recipe. PERFECT!
Less than an hour later I was being whisked away by my sister, who I’d hitched a ride from, because there was a diaper emergency. I left the party in haste without getting a chance to eat the homemade fruitcake. What a disaster.
