10 minute break during rehearsal. “So…um…who wants to celebrate National Croissant Day with me?” These two very willingly joined the celebration. I’m a little shy in explaining to people that this is what I do everyday. Not sure why. People always get a kick out of it, even if they aren’t interested in joining in.

I feel lucky most of the time that I’m in rehearsal. As far as jobs go, I think I’ve got a really fun one. I work as a Stage Manager in theatre. I’m in charge of keeping rehearsals on time and productive, and facilitating communication between the director, actors, and designers during the rehearsal process.

I was pretty nervous last night that Chocolate Cake might not be possible today. Winter Storm Juno was heading straight for us here in New York and there was basically a city wide shut down.
