“So…um…who wants to celebrate National Croissant Day with me?”
These two very willingly joined the celebration.
I’m a little shy in explaining to people that this is what I do everyday. Not sure why. People always get a kick out of it, even if they aren’t interested in joining in.
My plan for today was to go to a bakery near my apartment that has a lot of rave reviews on the chocolate almond croissant. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and had to run to rehearsal. Fortunately for me, New York is a place where you can purchase a croissant almost anywhere. I got this one from a Deli in Brooklyn for about $2. It was actually pretty good and fresh. Not chocolate almond, but still tasty.
